Young-su is a doctoral student in the School of Community Resources & Development. He earned his M.S. in Leisure and Recreational Activities at California State University, Northridge, and his MBA and Sungkyunkwan University. His research interests include positive youth development in sport, motivational climate, hope, and cross-cultural comparisons.

Her research interests include women in sport, with a focus on women in traditionally male-dominated sports.
